Fresh Start

One time Mark Twain picked up the paper and read the announcement of his own death.

[WHAT?]

He called the paper, made a protest.

[GRUMBLING]

The editor said, “I’m so sorry. But it’s already printed. I’ll tell you what I’m going to do in tomorrow’s paper. I’m going to put your name in the birth column and give you a fresh start.”

That’s what Jesus does, gives us a fresh start. Only this time around. He does all the work and covers all the failure. What’s more, He promises to get us home before the dark. Now, that’s a deal you can’t refute, unless you really like seeing your name in the death announcements. [WHAT?]
